EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE
INSTRUCTOR COURSE (EFRI)
& CARE FOR CHILDREN INSTRUCTOR (CFCI)
Both Course are available to certified Divemasters as well as
Instructors. In the EFR Instructor you will learn how to teach people basic CPR and First Aid. A required course for any sensible Instructor.
This course trains you to conduct and certify
divers in the Emergency First Response program. The course teaches you
how to conduct both primary and secondary care options including oxygen
providing and "automated external defibrillator" orientation. This
rating is an essential credential for every dive Instructor in order to
independently certify Rescue Divers and meet prerequisites for other professional levels of training. As of January 2009 the EFR
Instructor rating (or Equivalent) will be mandatory for all new Instructors.
Divemasters are also able to undergo
EFR Instructor training and independently issue EFR certifications.
This program also includes the EFR 'Care for Children' Instructor
rating which teaches you 1st Aid and secondary care skills specific to
infants and children, even if you never use these skills, you'll be
indebted that you took the program. We offer the EFR with 'Care for
Children' Instructor course as stand alone courses or as part of our Instructor Training Courses
Enriched Air Nitrox

You must be certified as a Nitrox diver before attending this course! Why nto combine a liveaboard, nitrox course AND the Instructor Prep course?
Instructors on this course will be able to share the benefits of
diving with enriched air, how to calculate the different gas blends and nitrgoen levels. In addition the purpose and use of an oxygen
analyzer.
